Bowmann may have the edge here. My English teacher was of those who were resolutely opposed to the idea of 'alright'. It is a non-standard abbreviation that does not correspond to altogether and already ... apparently.

Edit: I suppose the bottom line is, if you write 'all right' you will always be right.
