i hear a lot of americans complaining about the government that they voted in. even if it wasn't that person that voted for the government, it was his friends, workmates and family that did. in short, it is what the people want. it's what the majority of the population want. they want to continue the war in iraq, they want to continue polluting the world, etc.

if these people disagree so strongly with america's policy, then why don't they leave? is it not the government that is at fault, but the people? either try to educate the people, or leave. they are really the only two options that i can see.

just a short though...

A lot of people have family to look after and have to stay in the country, they may also not have enough spare time to even consider doing anything substantial politically; so they have the right to complain and do very little.

😕

Are you trying to sound stupid, or did it 'just happen'?

About half the people voted for Bush, so I wouldn't call it a great majority. Also, most people can't just fly their home and job off to another country just because they don't like the government that was elected by other people.

So what if my friend voted for Bush, he's not the smarted fish in the tank if you ask me.

More importantly, who's the smarted fish in the tank?

Edit - Please don't melt down again, Phlabibit, it's just a joke not a mockery.

No reason to leave when you get to vote in a new government every 4 years.

As an aside, an old axiom states....a country gets the government they deserve.
