Dixon Bainbridge is a character off a show. A very funny show. His character is a (very funny) ignorant, smart@rse, offensive type. What he said is actually quite funny i think.
The childishness has stopped, at who's request (if anybodys) i don't know.
Maybe you're right and he is just a cheeky chappy who likes a good larf, or maybe he's a bit of a bully, who deserves six of the birch. No matter, i only hope that he is not a serial -expletive deleted- , that hides under the banner of "quite funny really". . . a bit like happy slapping.
