@fmf saidThough it probably won't be valued a few thoughts:
Elanor Roosevelt exhorted everybody to "Do one thing every day that scares you". Does anyone adhere to this?
What would be some suggested activities or behaviours?
* How much one is scared is a matter of personality. There are personalities who don't know fear... and there are people for whom things are scary that won't mean anything to the vast majority of people.
* Eleonore Roosevelt's quote can be paraphrased with the more modern: "Levae your comfort-zone at least once a day." This doesn't sound as scary. And she (in my opinion) certainly did not mean to be paraphrased like "Leave your learning/development zone for the Panic zone once a day".
* To be scared of something is in first instance a mechanism that the sould needs to be save. Now and then we should takle fears, some of those are paper tigers and we can overcome them and widen our comfort zone, which is a good thing. Some are BIG warning signs, and should not be ignored on a whim. Bungee jumping for example should be save, but you have to overcome an existential fear. Some can (and do) some won't . It's okay either way.
