Then you might be interested in joining my new clan, The Sicilians: http://www.timeforchess.com/clan/home.php?cid=24622. There's no obligation to play, though I intend it to be quite active in challenges: there will also be an emphasis on discussions about all aspects of this defence, which gives good attacking chances for black. Discuss black's exchange sacrifice on c3 when white castles long, why it might be better to adopt the Najdorf (5...a6) move order in the Scheveningen variation, anti-Sicilian systems such as the Alapin (1.c3), the Grand Prix (including the 'toilet' variation) and much much more!
Hope to see you there...

All my games are called the toilet variation. 😀

I'm not allowed to join your clan - good luck with it.

I play the Sicilian instinctively but I'm new to taking chess seriously so can't claim to fully understand all the variations and possibilities of it. I'm willing to learn though.

Might join the clan but wouldn't be active for a couple of months - would that be OK?
