Okay, so this started before the breakup, so it isn't completely emotion related. But nearly every morning, I am unable to eat due to sickness in my stomache. It could be the fact that I skipped breakfast before school for months, and now... I dunno. I'm sitting here in hunger pains, but also feel too sick to eat. Happens most mornings.

In addition, I haven't been eating much because I don't eat when I'm broken hearted.

Your emotional turmoil has made you very tense, find a release for all that energy, preferably something creative.

I used to get that all the time. My parents used to make me eat a bowl of cereal in the morning sometimes, and by the time I got off the subway I would be a big gassy ball just about ready to shite my pants (I'm not lactose intolerant - it was just the time of day I ate).

You're probably sick because breakfast food sucks for breakfast. Try eating lunch instead, like a small slice of pizza and some orange juice, or a tuna sandwich. They're as stable in your stomach as anything made of brick. If that doesn't work, stop eating breakfast (save it for lunch!).

I can't eat until about 11:00, I just feel like throwing up if I do.

I'm the opposite. If I haven't eaten anything by 10:00 a.m., I start to feel nauseous.

Dude , you're wallowing in it. There's a fine line between seeking condolance and fishing for pity , and you've crossed it . Pull yourself together , man.

Coconut, it's not uncommon for people to develop such things as Irritable Bowel Syndrome following periods of high stress. My advice, eat healthily when you do, try and come to terms with your life. Drink something soothing like green tea before you try and eat in the morning and mayb etry some active yoghurt. If symptoms get worse, contact your doctor.

I'm like that too. I usually have a coffee around 10:30am, and then lunch (breakfast) at 12:00 or 1:00. It certainly saves me from a lot of face time with the porcelain goddess.

Haven`t had breakfast in years ... 3 cups of coffee usually suffice. If I do have breakfast i`m usually running for the bathroom an hr later...

I tend to have a big lunch and dinner

I prefer nauseated.

Admittedly, I disagree with the SOED on this one.

Thank you Bowman. It's time people learned the difference between "nauseous" and "nauseated".

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day, you should never skip it. Keeps your blood sugar up, don't y'know?
