I am surprised that we don't have Martin Luther King on a coin.

I have questions as to whether any new figures will be added to coins. Any new bill created probably won't have any impact, as its value would be too high for real use. And replacing any current featured member would result in dealing with the backlash of dememorializing said person.

Well the British invaded, slaughtered, brought disease, and generally wrecked the joint here for the Koori people.

All in the name of 'exploration and bringing civilisation to the savages'. The fact that they could dumo there poorly treated convicts was an added bonus. They totally whipped out all aboriginals from tasmania. Took remains and artefacts back to Britian and and totally refused to give back what they stole for over 200 years.

I predict we will see Reagan on a coin. Maybe the half dollar, that's always changing.

Indians have not been on our coins in a long time. The last change to occur to US coins (except for the state quarters) was in 1945.

Sacagawea (sic?), the Indian woman who accompanied Lewis and Clark, I think, is on the dollar coin, no?

Oh yeah. She's an Indian, isn't she? Well, I'm a little behind the times on US currency trends. Just ignore me.
