Given the historical Russian domination of OTB chess, I have wondered why there aren't more Russian players here. Off the top of my head, I can't name any RHP-ers from there, though surely there are some.

TV trivia game show - it's been around for at least 20 years in its current form. The original Jeopardy was on back in the 60s/70s.

I'm surprised that with all the American TV that gets shipped around the world, they haven't tried Jeopardy. It's one of the most popular shows on TV.

(It's probably similar in popularity to your Countdown show - although it lacks the attractive sidekick....:-)

The connection between my "Didn't phrase that as a question" and Jeapordy is that in Jeapordy, the contestants are given the answer, and have to buzz in with the correct question.

An example would be this.

This player on RedHotPawn.com has a target as her forum avatar.

The player that buzzes in would say "Who is Wucky 3?"
