1. I'm never going to be the world chess champion
2. I'm not going to get the gold medal for women's beach volleyball
3. I may never reach 1700 in RHP without manimpulating wins and losses

3. No hanging pieces = 1600, reasonable opening and a bit of creativity still without hanging pieces = 1700. So you can do at least that. Of course if you do not manage to do the number three you won't be able even to consider number one. 😛

3. was the too subtle humour part of this (i've been 1690 a couple of times, but i always take on way too many games and play a lot of junky moves. the 1700 could have happened any time that i would have held off on resigining a couple of games while i picked up a couple wins. it would have been easy, but players that do that just to pump up their all time high rating by a few points drive me crazy.)

I'd be in "Lala Land" if I reached 1200 and not as a provisional player as I once was. Hell I'd love to see 1100. "😉
