I've just found out how to grab - quite legally - videos from YouTube and save them as not-too-shabby mp4 files. Anyone interested?

Excellent. And your use of the word everyone may be now just exactly true, because I have only just worked out how to do it using http://keepvid.com/ and Orbit download manager. And it would seem that I was perhaps the last person in the world to find out.

Try http://www.mediaconverter.org/ it downloads and converts to any format all on one site - so simple, even I can use it! 😀

If you use Realplayer, every page with stream (audio or video) will show a button for downloading.

Ok then. I see. Well, the other thing I wanted to tell you all about is these things called 'flash discs' I've come across. Amazing things...
