It's not the screen you have to shout at - it's the microphone. If you have no mike - then plug your speakers into the mike port and shout REAL LOUD - this works.
Seriously, it's an audio thing? Like Skype or some such? I thought they were typing in the answers. Of course there is the vague possibility you may be pulling my long leg......
