During several games where it seemed neither player couls seize the advantage - i.e. - 1 Rook, pawn, king left (each) - I offered a draw only to be returned to the game that I just offered the draw on.

Any ideas people?

Did you make a move when you made the draw offer?

Nope, I just offered the draw and the same thing happened. I have offered draws in the past in this matter and there has been no problem. I am perplexed to say the least 😕

The draw offer method has been changed - see the help forum and the home page - you need to make a move at the same time as offering the draw. This means that if your opponent doesn't want to accept your offer of a draw they can carry on with the game without delay because you have already moved.

Russ is going to add a dialogue box that reminds you if you forget to move at the same time as offering the draw.
