Speaking as a relative newcomer, can somebody explain what Removed means. Is it always by the site or do you see it if the person closes their account with the site? Is it likely to relate more to chess or to posts? How does it work?

It means the account has been deleted. If a poster is banned from the site, for example [although this won't have been the case with drewnoggal], the screen name gets replaced with "Removed".

You'd have to ask the website to do it.

They may have but unlikely I think, anything is possible, might even be a glitch but I doubt that very much! 😉

I was worried there for a moment. Like most others on the 'next hour' thread, I overlooked the 'wrong' spelling.
