Not sure if i believe this or not. 127.0.0.1 is the loopback address and not your own IP for starters. Would directing a virus attack at the internal loopback actually attack your own PC? not so sure about that, just thought i t was for pinging purposes to verify that your protocol stack funtioned correctly.
This person also states that they have no firewall at all 'just a router', A router will act as a physical firewall and a very good one too.'
It's just one of them L4M3R stories told to gain attention.
