@metal-brain saidNo. Buy a skipping rope instead. Just make sure that it does not get stolen at work or you will have no way of getting home.
Could an e bike get you to work 7 miles from home and back reliably?

@the-gravedigger saidSo as long as it doesn't get stolen I am okay getting one?

Have you ever owned an e bike? Is 350W good enough or should I get a 500W one?

@metal-brain saidDepends mostly on the roads you have available for your journey. Around where I live they're popular because there are appropriate roads, but I wouldn't risk it on narrow suburban roads already carrying more cars than they were designed for. Reliability isn't an issue if you buy reputable products from reliable sources.

@metal-brain saidI’m hoping that you won’t be cycling in an area where you’re spending too much time inhaling toxic exhaust fumes?

@metal-brain saidSounds like a great place to get some regular exercise. You don’t like the idea of an ordinary bike with the benefit of getting yourself really fit?
No. I live in a rural area. The air is pretty good around here.
@metal-brain saidYes it can.
Could an e bike get you to work 7 miles from home and back reliably?
I know people doing that (and longer stretches) for years.
I personnally go without the "e" as long as I can.
