I have the EarthSiege 1 game and I love the game. However it's pretty old and it's meant for those old 486 computers. I can still play the game perfectly but I can never get the sound to work. When I had my old 486 computer the sound was working fine but now with these new computers they have different sound cards. When I install earthsiege it gives me a list of sound devices to pick from. I'm pretty sure my sound device is not on that list. On the list they have sound blaster X etc... Also they have a option, detect sound card and setting. I gives you a warning that your computer might freeze if you pick the wrong sound device and settings. So I click on detect sound and a few seconds after it picks the wrong thing and freezes. Thus the sound still doesn't work.
I play the game for fun now and then without sound but if the sound worked then it would be so much funner.
Any ideas?
Earthsiege 2 I like and the demo works great sound and everything but can you download it online somewhere for free?
