Not all Easter candy is eggs, nor is it all chocolate.
There are marshmallow eggs and peanut butter eggs and eggs with walnuts in them and malted milk eggs and even "jelly bird" eggs which in America we call jellybeans. Not to mention chocolate bunnies that aren't eggs at all. And even Easter eggs that are real hard-boiled eggs with no chocolate or candy of any kind.
So to call all Easter candy "Easter eggs" and meaning all chocolate is to unnecessarily narrow the scope of the typical Easter basket. I mean you might have a point if, indeed, all Easter candy were chocolate in the form of eggs. But it's not.
Edit: And I hate to burst your bubble, but Cadbury's is not the best chocolate found in America. Not by any stretch of the imagination.
