As great as his westerns are I like the movies that he directed the best. His best work has been later in life.

I'm not a fan of westerns. That cowboy thing kinda depresses me.

Nothing can beat The Good, The Bad, And The Ugly.

What is it, like 20 minutes before the first word of dialogue is spoken, or something? A classic.

Had a little horsey named Paul Revere
Just me and my horsey and a quart of beer
Riding across the land - kicking up sand
Sheriff's posse on my tail cause I'm in demand

One lonely Beastie I be
All by myself without nobody
The sun is beatin' down on my baseball hat
The air is gettin' hot, the beer is gettin' flat

There were 2:
Any Which Way But Lose

Any Which Way You Can.

I liked his cowboy films and the Dirty Harry series, but I think he's a much better director than actor or mayor. I've got "Million Dollar baby" on DVD, plan to watch it tomorrow.

Sergio Leone plucked him out of Gunsmoke, took him to spain.. gave him wider shjoulders, stubble, darker skin, a trade mark cigar butt and clint asked for less lines.. the result was "Fistful of Dollars" the original spag western.... He wasn't allowed to make movies in the usa because of the gunsmoke contract. When he came back.. they could wait to sign him up.

Unforgiven is my fav... but John Waynes "The Shootist" was great as the ole fellas last movie. Clint will make a better one his best is always his next one.
