Chinese gooseberries aren't actually from NZ. We were just clever at marketing them as "Kiwi fruit" (Yanks call them Kiwi, which is terrible because Kiwi is a bird and a national icon. If you ate Kiwi in NZ, you wouldn't get out of the country alive).
