It really is truelly amazing that a woman went 71 days without going shopping or having her hair done.

Did you also hear that despite this great feat she had to get a man to park the boat for her when she got back?

What do you do in 71 days? Jack all, except school and holidays.

Try sailing around the world.

fred you really should appreciate some of the things humans in this world are not only capable of doing, but actually carry out. dont reply by saying something stupid like 'ok im going to play 71000 games of chess in one week' cos its not physically and mentally challenging (not for you anyways you sad loser, lol jokes). and if it was boring then why are so many people talking about it? eh????😛

I have to say that I think the whole thing is a bit over-hyped. Last night's evening news was hopeless - the 1st 10 minutes on this event.
Now, its a major achievement, and a 'good thing', but not the main item on the news, and not for half the program.
We had 10 minutes of interviews, nice wee graphics etc about sailing and boats and maps and the like. All very nice. Then we got a quick 30 seconds of news of a truce in the middle east.
Priorities!

A truce in the middle east is hardly major news as the chances are the news tonight will say it has been broken.
