Always been a fan since I was I was a teenager. He and Taupin together wrote incredibly beautiful songs as we all know.

But what’s your thoughts on their contributions, both collectively and individually?

Tiny Dancer is just wonderful.

First nine albums, a run ending with Captain Fantastic and the Brown Dirt Cowboy, GOOD. Everything thereafter, BAD.

I think that John's best ever song was "someone save my life tonight" from the Captain Fantastic Album. HIs more recent stuff isn't a patch on the earlier stuff, I agree.

Great songs but Elton lacks that certain charisma - his wardrobe manager should have been fired! My favourite - George Michael joining him in Don’t let the sun go down on me.
