I just experienced a bizarre partial to full power outage for the last hour, potentially due to the large solar flare. There was a power surge, then all of the lights started dimming and brightening in roughly 10 minute cycles, before the power went off entirely. Anyone else have similar experiences (ie, can this be attributed to the highly-publicized celestial event today)?

'Twas frightfully cool...

Well, all the street lights went out but there was no aurora or anything that I saw (apparently there was activity like that in other parts of the world not accustomed to such magnetic displays).

Yeah, and the fact that I can multiply by 4 😛.

42 is a Douglas Adams reference. Various people finally badgered me into reading 'Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy', and I'm very glad they did. I've just obtained the other 4 books in the trilogy 😉.

Aye. 16 on Monday. I draw the line at D&D, definitely 😉. One's chick future must always take precedence over standing on some faroff mountain pass hacking at goblins with archaic edged weapons...😛

You have two courses of action, namely to obey:

I don't know why we are here, but I'm pretty sure that it is not in order to enjoy ourselves.
