Which is better ? and where do i get a program to prevent me being nabbed for downloading stuff ?

BitTorrent. No question.

If you use trading sites (which don't deal in uncopyrighted material), you have nothing to worry about.

If, however, you choose standard ones, then, statistically, you have nothing to worry about.

ahh. my friend says i can download a program that can hide me from the powers that be (the ones that don't like that sort of thing)...being in Ireland i am in a smaller pond.
