End of January, 2010, Coming to Terms... beginning to dawn that the dominant basis of many of our decisions may be far less voluntary, objective and cognitive than we may realize. Consider how often we talk in terms of what we almost see; hear in terms of tone of meaning, less than words; taste in terms of acquired preferences and textures; smell in terms of synesthesia/fragrances already safely on our shelves of memory; think in terms of ambivalent feeling; define reality in terms of what is close at hand. Interesting, magnificent and needy creatures full of desire and clothed with warm and fuzzy habits, don't you think?
