It seems the 'tail' of SA is more savy at batting then England's openers so I would have to second that opinion. Still, COME ON ENGLAND !!!

So what do you South African's have to say for yourselves now? I prefer seeing Gibbs getting out for 9 personally. He seems more adapt to getting out for low totals so always a pleasure to see him and Smith at the crease. All or nothing players, atleast in this series. 😛

This time it only took two wrong lbw decisions to take the wind out of our sails... unlike the 3 at Trent Bridge....

We'll just draw it then, if Venkat can keep his finger in his pocket for those silly lbw appeals by England - it seems this is the only way England can get a chance in a test.

A great series, some great performances from both England and SA. Reckon a tied series was a fair result, but what a wonderful series for cricket - that last test just proves what a brilliant format for sport the 5 day test really is. 😀

Special mentions to Graeme Smith, Gary Kirsten, Freddie Flintoff and Marcus Trescothink, who have all enhanced their reputations this series with awesome batting, and great to see Graham Thorpe back and scoring.

Can't wait for the next England test series now, bring on Bangladesh! 🙄
