What are the little things we can do to minimize the detriment we cause to the environment around us?

We have just started using a different fabric conditioner ~ it has a nice apple-like aroma. What possible environmental impact should I be aware of?

Most of these little things are well known: Taking public transit and recycling our garbage waste whenever possible, purchasing environmentally friendly paper products, biodegradable packaging, using water filters instead of bottled water, composting, using electric or hybrid vehicles if we must drive, volunteering to help clean up trash along the highways and other public areas. (The link below lists more of these little things) Perhaps most important, voting for lawmakers that share these views, rather than selling their political influence to oil and coal companies.

Most people care about the environment during a phone survey but making the changes in one's lifestyle that make a cleaner environment possible is what makes the real difference.

Screw the environment.

I find the only people who care are the ones who were relatively successful in life who have kids.

The remaining 99 percent of us don't give a damn.

Beef, pork, lamb/mutton. Which of these, if people consume them, is the most / least environmentally friendly - in terms of farming and processing?
