I agree - it's a strikingly subdued performance by Carrey, and one I could really sympathise with. I think Kaufman would have wanted him for the part to mess with the audience, because then everyone would be expecting wackiness. Something similar happens in 'Being John Malkovitch', where Cameron Diaz's character is so unsexy that people struggle to recognise her!

it was an immensely enjoyable film - Carrey's best effort along with The Truman Show and Mask. Can't wait for the sequel, 'Eternal Rainstorm of the Dirty Mind', due out late 2005...

Perhaps "Ephemeral Rainstorm of the Dirty Mind?"

It was a genus of rosaceous plants, including the raspberry and blackberry.
(Rubus)
Or maybe it was a deep red, translucent variety of the mineral corundum, highly valued as a precious stone.
(rubies)
Or maybe it was refuse or garbage like almost every post you make. (rubbish)

You should learn to be more clear.

If it was an infrequent occurance I would tend to agree with you. However search out his posts. I challenge you to find one without a spelling mistake in it. I found one. However I believe it only contained 5 words.

I watched this movie a few weeks back. It was like a bad trip from high-school! So sad that these 'workers' could take 'brain washing' so lightly... and screw things up so bad.

I enjoyed the movie, but it kind of made me paranoid! I think the movie is well worth a watch... if you can handle it!

I thought it was going to be called: "Short irrigation of the fetid colon."
