I have changed my mind about Italy winning the contest - it won because that's how people voted, nothing wrong with that except my age perhaps. 🙂 The group call themselves Måneskin, a name chosen by a Danish group member.

Tusse came 14th and he made us proud.

We have always felt, and it has been evident for decades, that there are musical cultures in Europe - Scandinavia voted for each other and so did Central-Europe and the East block. It may have to do with sympathy but also how we appreciate genres. It didn't quite happen. UK used to be the nation we all liked, and Ireland too. I'm not sure what happened this year. Is it a matter of generations?
