What I didn't like is that traveling around on missions can get quite boring (although you can play chess while you wait) and also you don't have a strong identity in the game. You are represented by your current spacecraft rather than a physical character. I spent a lot of time trading. You can make money, but the markets themselves are not that realistic.
The graphics are very good, but the sound effects can get annoying, (e.g. its exactly the same sound track in every space station, with some scandinavian-sounding voice artist saying something that sounds like "gurdy-gurdy-gurdy" )
The space environment is a welcome change to the usual RPG. I just wish they had expanded the space station game play, so you could get out of your ship at the stations and interact with other players, traders, agents, etc. That would have made it a lot more interesting.
