Rule one. Don't stick your hand in the jar just to see what it feels like. You can't restore the jar to looking like it never happened and it's nearly impossible to clean off your hand.

But you have the satisfaction of the smell lingering on the fingers for awhile and then there's the quilt factor I guess so it's probably a wash eh?

For years my breakfast has been peanut butter with vanilla waffers, washed down with a coke. It's made me the man I am today (insert punchline here).

I love peanut butter. Extra crunchy. I eat a spoonful every day. I hate that there's so much fat in it though.

Bananas.

I made an entire quilt out of peanut butter once. How's that for quilt factor?

At least it's monounsaturated fat, like olive oil. Better for your heart than, say, butter or cheese.

I hear ya, though. It's still 9 calories per gram.

I think we should 'accept' the people who don't.

This actually sounds good.

(Yeah, I know, I'm weird, too.)

As long as you use what they call Natural* peanut butter, the sugar in the Vanilla Wafers shouldn't be too bad.

*Except for brands like Jif or Skippy, who have long been in the US markets. Jif and Skippy both make what they *call* Natural peanut butter, but it is a joke. Most other brands of Natural peanut butter contain ONLY peanuts and salt, THAT'S ALL. Jif and Skippy, on the other hand, contain just as much sugar as their regular varieties, AND they trade the hydrogenated vegetable oils in the regular varieties for palm oil in their "Natural" varieties. These are both saturated fats, and palm oil actually delivers more saturated fat than the hydrogenated vegetable oils. Bottom line? If you are concerned that Jif or Skippy may not be a healthy choice, do NOT go with their so-called "Natural" varieties instead, for they are actually LESS healthy for you than their regular variety peanut butter. Check the ingredients list on all peanut butter you buy. Choose the ones that only contain peanuts and salt.
