All of the above examples are typical methods, have been going on for many years. In Sweden - I suppose even in other countries - imposters pretending to be working for the bank, the police, insurance companies etc - approach elderly people and convince them to give away jewelry, bank account numbers and codes 'so that their belongings will be in safe hands'. This happens every day despite frequent guarantees from banks and police that they definitely don't work that way - they don't approach people by telephone or personal visits. This is a serious and growing problem.
