Excessive Repetitive Moves

General

This post is about some players, these players are very good at repeating their same move again and again (may be thinking the opponent will resign.). Like- they check the king, opponent evade his/her king, player check the king again, and because of limitation of move, opponent evade his/her king to former position, and the player takes his exact piece to former position to repeat the exact check to king. These cycle they continue unless the opponent resigns or sacrifice their other piece to brake it. Is it the only way for this situation? Or, there are any Applicable Restrictions that will not be just rules but in denial there will be consequences.

the space/time portal opens to a draw
right after the third repetition
not knowing this vital information
causes me a tad bit of suspicion

How do I claim a draw?#clmdrw
A draw can be claimed without any interaction from your opponent under a number of conditions. These are as follows:

No piece capture or pawn movement has occurred for over 50 consecutive moves (100 half moves). Therefore the game has not progressed and a draw may be claimed by either player during their next move.

Insufficient material remains on the board to finish the game. If only two kings remain then either player may claim a draw during their next move.

Third repetition of a position. If any identical position appears three times during a game, then the game can be claimed as a draw. Please note that each repetition must be identical with regards to en passant and castling availability. A draw can only be claimed along with a move that contributes to a repetition. Claiming after the repetition has occurred is not possible, unless the same position can be repeated again on a future move.

This post is about some players who are not very good at claiming a draw by 3-fold repetition.

I'm going to find out how functional it is here, as I am in one such situation now, although my opponent doesn't know 🙂

You'd think there'd be a rule.

I believe you can click the 'claim draw' button at any time during any game, when it is your move.
(You need to first click 'claim draw', and then make a valid move).

You can do this at any time on your move if you think the conditions exist for a draw.

You will see a notice that if a draw exists the game will be declared as a draw and will end.
If the conditions are not met, the game will continue as normal.

I do believe this is how it works, but do let me know in this thread if I am mistaken. 🙂
