I warned about a "persnickety" device at the office, and a thirty-something asked what I meant by that. I had to admit it is an old person's word.

Here are some others that seem to have fallen out of use:

Criminy.
Blast it.
Groovy.
Totally tubular.
Well shut my mouth.
