I got sent a link to it sometime in 2003 I suppose it was. I played a little and forgot about it.

3 years later I signed up to Facebook which was really good fun in those days.

No, I never heard of it at the time, but I read about it here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/History_of_Facebook#Facemash

and I got immediate verification that, yes, Zuckerberg was a douchebag in those days.
