Anyone else here mourn the loss of 'Family Guy'? For those of you who don't know, it was a cartoon show show with many parallels to the Simpsons, but where the simpsons held back, Family Guy ripped everything apart. No morals at the end of the shows, just edgy dark humour wrapped up in characters you had to love.
Stewie the baby who wanted nothing more than to kill his mother and take over the world.
Brian the urbane, educated, alcoholic dog.
Quagmire, the sexual predator, but with a secret desire for Lois.
Lois, the mother of the show, given over to quite terrifying fits of rage. Joe, the wheelchair bound cop-next-door, addicted to Steven Seagal movies and testosterone induced screaming.
This show was genius, and dare I say it, better than the Simpsons (cringes in fear of being shouted down).

Why only 3 series???????????

Any thoughts?

I watched it last night, and guess what... I'm from Rhode Island too! I don't have a talking baby or dog however.

It is on the cartoon network at about 11:00pm eastern... right before Futurama. Hope you get to catch it!

I thought there was only 3 series made. I live in England and don't have access to many tv channels as you know! I thought it got cancelled after the 3rd series because of too many complaints. Is this a magical 4th? Please let it be so.

''That's not a minivan...that's my son!''

Good stuff, and better than the Simpsons IMHO 😀.

You will be glad to find there are about 50 episodes listed at this site.

I hope you can figure out a way to find this show in your area. We should start a VCR Tape TV trade.... You have any good shows I should be watching that are not in the US?

Alas those are all the episodes from the 3 series I already have on dvd. I don't think there are new episodes or series being made. Hmmmm british tv. There isn't much that I can strongly recommend at the moment that I don't think you'll already have, eg my favourite ever show is 'the office', but you guys already get that.

I don't have nearly as many cool FG quotes as I do Simpsons quotes, but I do remember some really good ones:

Lois: "Don't worry, Meg. I paid an old friend to go and visit them."
Quagmire (rings doorbell): "Hey, cutie. How old are you?"
Girl: "Sixteen."
Quagmire: "Eighteen, huh? You're first."
Girl: "MOM!"
Quagmire: "I like where this is going. Gigity, gigity, gig-i-ty."

Watch Adult Swim on the Cartoon Network! You'll love it!

LOVED THE FAMILY GUY! Baby Stewie, recalling his own conception: "It was every potential man for himself!"

The Office is excellent, in a totally different way.

I remember one episode where the kids in Meg's high school were licking toads:

Kid 1: "Dude, you just licked that toad. Gross!"
Kid 2: "I know, I... woah... wow; everything is so... significant!"
