Could you be a celebrity without being an actor, musician, athlete...etc. or accomplishing something noteworthy?

I mean, what if tons of people know you and like you, but you don't really accomplish much? Maybe you just lay around all day. Could you still be a celebrity?

Also, you have a brazilian myspace/facebook friends.
