When playing chess if you move quicker than other people does that make you a better player than them or not. (if they have the same rating than you).

depends. if you play as well as your opponent, but you spend less time you will probably win more often.

No, you may solve it faster, but the fact that you both have about the same rating should show you're still about equal. You can play more games then the opponent.

It doesn't matter how fast you move, who ever wins I would say is the better player in the long run, but if someone beats you two times doesn't make them better than you, maybe you just made a couple mistakes, you go back and review the game and see what you did wrong.

apples to oranges... the quick mover with the same rating is just that, the faster mover. The problem here is that ratings don't account for the periodicy of moves, unless of course you time out.
