My Favourite Team is the Eagles. I have liked them for awhile now.

My favourite player on the Eagles is Brian Dawkins #20 FS.
My reason for liking them is I went to pennsylvania one year and i saw one of thier games on TV. Eversince then Ive liked them.

Leeds United.

I'm not trying to be insulting because I used to follow GridIron myself a while back, but why do you guys insist on calling it "Football". The majority of the game is played using hands.

Oh yeah - and why do you call jam "jelly" - what do you call jelly?

Yeah, but isn't Jello a brand name over there??

Probably. Never been. So don't know. Perhaps one of our American friends can enlighten us. I know I like peanut butter and "jelly" sandwiches though. Sunpat crunchy of course.

"Tossing and Running with the Oblate Spheroid" seemed a bit cumbersome for marketing purposes. 😀

Why not stick with Gridiron! It even sounds hard and macho.
Any way - I was just being facetious.

No, you've got a legit point.

And gridiron is great word!

Hmmmm....

Gridball, mayhaps?
