There seems to be a bit of a food fetish running through these forums, so I was wondering about different biscuits (cookies) from around the globe:

Two categories please: Dunking and Non-Dunking.

You could also suggest the worst possible dunking biscuits so that I know to avoid them.

If you want to get really "foody" you could even tell me what type of tea or coffee you prefer to dip your choice into!!!

Ginger thins (sainsbury) not for dunking.
Gingernuts for dunking. But only in tea. Coffee is for enjoying the flavour and not contaminating it with biscuit crumbs.

Fav coffee is Columbian beans ground with a touch of cinamon.

Totally agree with you on that one: Ginger Nuts are the best (but only McVities). Custard Creams come a close second in my hierarchy of dunkable biscuits.

I know a girl who just adores ginger nuts.

I like Tollhouse cookies. Got a recipe somewhere for them.

We don`t really call cookies, cookies in the UK just biscuits. I don`t think we have an equivalent for the US biscuit.

i'm in the uk but i've always felt biscuits are for dogs. i like millie's cookies. whenever i walk past the stand in the mall i have to say "narray" very loudly, otherwise i buy a whole bagful and soon i am a fat dibble.

if i can't dunk then I don't eat them...custard creams always dissolve and fall into your brew as do rich tea. ginger nuts are probably the best dunking biccy

When my father was a boy, many evenings his dessert consisted of biscuits dipped in molasses.

There was some strange things eaten in those days. I`ll bet the dentist was kept busy 😉

Probably tasted pretty good though.
