Either way works, but remember to throw out Windows' default copy/move control and download TeraCopy.

You'll never look back.

You must find the file first.

Start with a hammer. Escalate into drill. Once you find it, place it in
the other machine in exactly the same place where it was in the other.

I dunno man. If I'm going to do a bulk transfer then the only thing that I trust is Total Commander. You can do so many things with it that explorer just can't handle. http://www.ghisler.com/

Also, you can run it off a flash drive, LIKE A BOSS.

TeraCopy just replaces the copy / move control and works AWESOME. It's basically the first thing I install on a new install these days.

God, that thing looks disgusting. I like xplorer2 lite

But, RegEx and multi-rename... I'll have to check it out.
Shareware though? Nag screens?

But how about the interface? Could I for example use it?

Yes, even a patzer like you could use it.

Only one nag screen when you load it up. It wasn't designed to look pretty, it's very low end, while being very powerful at the same time. I've been using it for about 6 or 7 years and still haven't come across anything better for bulk transfers. The Sync Directories function will beat any other app on the planet. I also use the multi rename quite often.
