I actually really like the "Dawn of the Dead" remake from a couple of years back.

Not really better than the original, but still very good. (Very sad that George A. Romero's own recent Land of the Dead was just terrible.)

I watched the old remake, and Jesus Christ...was that even a movie? I did laugh at the beginning where they storm the projects and blow the guys head off...that was the cheesiest cinematography EVER. EVER.

The Happiness of the Katakuris is better than The Quiet Family.

Although whilst obviously the same essential storyline the style is very different leading both to be very good films in their own right and worth watching. Not just a case of most remakes released soon after the original of just using the home audiences language (but it is a Japanese remake of a Korean original) and removing the character of the piece.

The Day of the Jackal remade as The Jackal was pretty good, I thought.

The wet dream I had last night about XanthosNZ was better than the one I had about him on Thursday.

Also, it was a "her" on Friday.

Does that count as a re-make?

So you had a wet dream about Xanthos as a guy? That's weird...
