I've never actually drove the car, it just ticks all the boxes...i need to try it first, so it wouldn't be fair to ask.

It'd be wise to call ahead to find out if it's still there before you travel on Sat anyway. Could save you an unnecessary journey.

I might do that. It's a big garage here, and the car is a second hand one that's on their website. I hope it's there, as my car is hemorrhaging oil at this point, and i'd like to drive it away Saturday 😛

I know it's stating the obvious, but if you're not mechanically minded, take someone with you who knows about cars etc, check for the service history etc see if or when the timing belt has been changed. Also have a look at the prices in general to make sure you are paying the right price for the car ...

The cars only done 12000 miles, so the timing belt is not an issue.

Good luck, Huck. Caveat emptor... be alert to the old bait and switch and get all representations of warranty and other conversational

promises in writing on their letterhead, dated and signed. Last, remember that the big print gives while the fine legal print takes away.

That's because you're just a young whippersnapper. (And just why are you snapping all those whippers, anyway?)
