Personas are new. They are just an image for the top of the screen.

It's an English page, so I see the same as you. But isn't that approximately the same as personas, only that it's integrated into Firefox in a different way?
They're VERY slightly different from themes, I just installed a "Persona" called Dark Fox and it just made my menu bar pretty, apart from that it does all the things that normal themes do. Compare that to a Theme like NASA Night Launch which is like everything that Dark Fox wants to be, so far Personas are pretty lame.
It has potential though, but I don't know if I want pictures on my toolbar.
