@diver saidGood Brain puzzle, I would never gotten it!!!
A piece of A4 paper can be folded about 6 times maybe 7, before it becomes too thick to bend. But imagine if you could fold it say 103 times; how high would it be?
Guess first before checking the answer …

@Very-Rusty saidI only got to 4 folds, which actually surprised me because the British version of a piece of A4 paper is slightly larger than our “letter size” paper over here.

@Great-Big-Stees saidYes, I did know that part, but the math would be far too difficult for me for sure!!!

I think that would getting into Physics? Or perhaps I am making it more difficult that it actually is?

@Very-Rusty saidI think physically doing it would be, in a word, very difficult (OK that’s 2 words…sue me). Mathematically, somewhat less difficult though the “found” number would be…”BIG”.🤔😉

@Great-Big-Stees saidAgreed, but what formula would YOU use for the math???

@Great-Big-Stees saidIt is a brain puzzler but I am sure there has to be a way to work it out mathematically!!
I think 🤔 that’d be fair to say…yes.👍😁
