Thank you, I shan't miss this film, with Saoirse Ronan (also acting in Brooklyn, another great movie).

Saoirse Ronan

I'm just getting enamored with her work. I loved her in Byzantium and The Lovely Bones. Now, I'll explore more of her films. Thanks for the tip!

Wow! That does look good!
My ginger-haired wife has an Irish heritage. Mine is Dutch-Italian. Too perfect.

I must say...Saoirse has the most hypnotic eyes: I think even better than Jennifer Connelly's gorgeous emeralds. 🙂🙂

Brooklyn is a must see, too.

"...hypnotic eyes."

The word that comes up for me is "mesmerizing."

IMDB.com reports that "Director [of Lady Bird] Greta Gerwig said in an interview that she would have preferred the film to be "just close-ups of Saoirse Ronan's face" because of her immense beauty."

Another fascinating thing about her is her acting. I have watched programmes with her on TV and she is a very quick, vibrant person in real life - the opposite of the very careful girl she does in Brooklyn.

She was great in The Atonement too at the age of 13.

Last night, I noticed I have "Atonement" on NETFLIX. But it was my wife's night to control the controller. She enjoys "American Idol". So, I watched some Werner Herzog on YouTube.

Thus, preserving "domestic bliss" for another day.

I'll check out the talented Saoirse film later today.

It is, Drew, one of the films I so enjoyed and will remember. A charming and very probable story about a young Irish girl moving to New York for a better future.
