for those who wish to walk away from google

there are two free search engines that can be an alternative to google.

duckduckgo and dogpile

i still have gmail but am thinking about leaving and i can no longer use google as a search engine.

i have quit using amazon as well. you can buy on the walmart site anything amazon has to offer

time to walk away from these two evil empires

i've been using duckduckgo for about six months now
it was amazing how after only a few days? the targeted advertising disappeared completely from my browser
still use gmail, tho
it's the best all around mail app going

DDG for everything now. never used gmail.

Use TOR with duckduckgo and or dogpile

Just watched a supposedly private google meeting just after Hillery lost that got leaked out. One hr. long but worth watching. Those people are scary. I'll post the link later

Me neither. I never shop in the market leader if I can avoid it, so never in TESCO for example. Amazon is becoming less favoured due them having too much share. As consumers we have to support the competitors for our own future best interests.
