So, lets all take a little respite and reflect on what has been provided for us.
Then reflect on how we would all cope if access to that service was withdrawn for a week or so.
Sobering thought, isn't it.

I can't agree. If you can't cope with the forums mod duties for the time being, put yourself on vacations as such, and tell Russ.

Last evening was not the case. I got online and had some PM's from some users about VERY abusive posts. Sure enough, I couldn't believe what was said. I had to do something, and it seems there was one thread being the root of all the trouble.
Russ and the other mods have their vacation flags on I see now after contacting them. I'm not on vacation, I had personal stuff to do and it was bad timing all around. The whole thread was removed rather than trying to find anything worth being removed beyon the abusive posts I did see.
The thread was causing a fight of Good Vs Evil or Thin Skin vs. Relax About it.
I removed the thread. Like I said, Russ can put it back if he feels it needs to be.
I don't know if you saw any of the abusive posts, but if someone said something like that to me I would personally have a shit fit. I don't mind banter, but what was said was very rude, and personally I had someone do the same thing in my PFC and told them the subject is off-limits.
Someone was given a harsh slandering, and I did what I could in the moment.
I'll do what I can when I can, and in an 'all or nothing' situation like I saw I'm picking Nothing. Russ can sort it out as he see's fit, since I personally think the Forums should have some banter, but some things are just too much.
