I'm not sure it's fair to say France deserved to win, because through the first 90 minutes, they weren't really any better than England. England just got lucky before the French did.
In the last 2 minutes though, England definitely deserved to lose. Once again they managed to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.
French people were very happy after the France-england match.
I think France played badly during 90 minutes because of the remembering of what happened during the last world cup. We should have engaged in overwhellming attacks on the english defense from the begining instead of waiting to take a goal. We laked of confidence during all the match and especially after the english goal.
But now that we winned this match, with renewed confidence, i think it will be difficult to stop the French team.

Sorry Martin, I disagree. That IMO was one of England's worst performances in the last 2/3 years. Virtually only had 3 shots on goal in 90 minutes. Lampards goal was good, but the rest nothing special. Beckham's penalty kick and Vassel's strike all I can recall. France showed so much more skill and ball handling it would have been a travesty had they not won. Litterally spent 80% of the game in Englands half. Lampards goal was against the run of play and thereafter England just sat back... stupid against a team such as France.
