typical software company - throw a link out there saying "FREE Beta! come download " as if they are doing you a favour.. meanwhile they are having their software tested for bugs for free.. then when all done, the beta will probably expire, or crash, or something, and they will not provide any assistance, as nobody supports 'beta'
