I need help for a friend.

She had a PC which had Norton 2005, and recently got a worm virus, and the lack of update probably didn't help.
The sticking point is the cost of new security, as she only earns €300 a month (which is actually good money in her country).

Can any of you's provide a link for some good free security system for me to give her Please ?

Thank you in advance for your help.

You can get a free download for one month of 'trojan hunter'. It allows updates of definitions for one month free. Its a good one.
Also Ad Aware, Spybot Search and destroy are all free. Also AVG anti virus has a free version, updatable.

I thought this thread would showcase a method of always being infallibly politically correct.

Try this free for 30 days, it's a stonking anti-spyware program I've been using at work, it found 300 things which my home system failed to.

Can it decode the misogynistic references behind the Green Door?

Your PC tool is rubbish if it can't spot that chauvinistic howler.

That song is positively Kafkaesque.

I use ewido anti-spyware too, seems to be excellent and after the trial period it still functions with reduced features.

I would recommend [as well as some of the already mentioned stuff] that you get a firewall and a small program called spywareblaster.

Here's 3 good free firewalls to choose from;
